About Starr Denison
Starr Denison, MS, LPC, NCC spent several years as an animal behaviorist, trainer and consultant working with service and performance animals and to consulting for shelters to reduce stress in animals ready for adoption.
She obtained her BS in Zoology/Chemistry and BS in Psychology from Northern Arizona University and her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Prescott College specializing in trauma-focused therapy with a concentration in experiential and equine-assisted mental health.
As a licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, Starr uses an integrative holistic approach in therapy focusing on a person’s whole being and potential for optimal functioning.
